Changing the blade

1. The blade has been attached to the shaft with hot melt glue and screws. Remove the screws and warm the joint of the blade for example with a heat gun or hot water until the glue starts to soften. Then draw the blade from the shaft.

2. Attach the new blade in the shaft immediately when the glue is still soft enough. Push the blade right to the bottom and secure the attachment with screws.

 

Bending the blade

1. Heat the blade with a heat gun or hot water. Be careful not to heat too much to avoid melting. When you bend your blade, you actually want to change the internal memory of the plastic. So HB material blade needs more warming than blades of SB material.

2.   Make the desired hook

3. Stiffen the blade cooling it in cold water. Hold the bend while cooling.

 

HB = hard blade

MB = medium blade

SB = soft blade
